Nigel Lynch

Author

Alan Lynch is one of the key founding members of the group. He fills many roles. He is known as the writer of Life and Death in Paradise and most recently the Diary of The Stray Dogs Series.  Alan is also treasurer, coordinator of events, production manager, and strategist. Coming from an artistic background Alan also has a keen eye, and is very thorough in his research methods and planning when collaborating on comics. Lynch has started to work with an international crop of artists through his Diary of the Stray Dogs sci fi series which was the first crowd funded title from the group. 

Matthew Clarke

Artist / Author

Matthew is another founding member of the group; Matthew is an illustrator, graphic designer, writer from Barbados. He has experience creating editorial cartoons for the local Heat newspaper and has authored and illustrated his own 150 page graphic novel The Heartman and serves as a spokesman for the group. Matthew’s achievements include NIFCA awards in Visual Art categories, Addy Awards and in 2022 a Russ Manning Award Nomination. He has a unique style of illustration and is quite creative in his ability to express Barbadian or Caribbean detail. Matthew and Nigel Lynch have kicked off their professional comic careers with the 208 page, Graphic Novel: Hardears, published by Abrams Publishing’s imprint: Megascope Books. 

Aguinaldo Belgrave

Aguinaldo is an experienced Graphic Artist with a history of producing his own graphic work for the internet via www.graphiteandlead.net. Aguinaldo has produced several Web Based Comics namely School Daze, Crazier than Fiction and The Yard to name a few. Aguinaldo is definitely an asset, he possesses the experience, skills and knowledge in web page design necessary to run and maintain websites. Recently Bellegrave has published a space thriller called The Rook, and authored a Novel entitled: Shaards the Broken World: Book 1

Tristan Roach

Artist / Author

Tristan is one of the founding members of Beyond Publishing. He is an artist and writer of his own Barbadian based super hero comic, “Spirit Bear”. The characters of Spirit Bear are unique because they are loosely based on Barbadian folklore; such a strong intellectual property creates an opportunity to market the characters as action figures, T-shirts etc. Tristan has also been trained in animation and is a pinnacle member of the group. Tristan brings an very unique and energetic animation style to his work and recently worked on a soon to be released graphic novel with Abrams Megascope Books. Tristan was a 2014 Glyph Awards Nominee for his work on the Offset series and has several Addy Awards under his belt for his Spirit Bear. 

Delvin Howell

Author

Delvin Howell is another founding member and one of the main writers and editors in the group. Delvin is the community face of the group, touching base with fans and community members. Delvin graduated from the University of the West Indies with a Bachelors of Science (Hons) degree in Economics & Law. He is currently employed at the Barbados Stock Exchange. Recent accolades include Winner of the Young Writers in the Frank Collymore Literary Endowment Awards of 2010 for his novel Offset. ALexandre Haynes

Artist / Author

Alexandre joined Beyond Publishing when it was already formed, and through Beyond Publishing has illustrated and published his own title “Rob” which consists of 2 volumes at present.  Rob was nomimated for Caribbean Addy award, and won Gold, “Best in Show” in the caribbean and was nominated in Miami. Alexandre has not stuck to just writing comicbooks, but has expanded into automotive culture in the caribbean and beyond, with his website www.sleeperforest.com, which is a media and news platform with the objective of documenting automotive culture.
